Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and ReelFrames ("we", "us") about your use of the ReelFrames website, web app, API and MCP server (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
1. Who can use ReelFrames
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding contract.
- You must give us accurate sign-up information and keep it up to date.
- You can't use the Service if you've been barred from it before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.
2. Your account and team
- Keep your password, two-factor codes, personal API keys and AI provider keys safe. You're responsible for everything done in your account.
- You can invite team members as editors or viewers. You're responsible for what they do in your workspace, and you can remove them at any time.
- One free trial per person. Creating extra accounts to get more trials or free credits isn't allowed, and we may close accounts that do.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or create with the Service — scripts, images, clips, voiceovers, avatars, business profiles and finished videos ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, render, translate and publish Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you: for example to generate images and voiceovers, render videos and post them to the accounts you connect. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that are already published on third-party platforms.
You confirm you have the rights you need to Your Content — including music, footage, fonts, logos, trademarks and the likeness or voice of any person shown — and that publishing it won't break the law or anyone's rights.
4. AI-generated output
- The Service uses third-party AI models (text, image, voice and video) chosen by you or by us. AI output can be inaccurate, generic or similar to output other people receive. Review everything before you publish it.
- As between you and us, you own the output generated for you, to the extent the law allows anyone to own it. Some providers set their own usage terms; when you use your own keys, those terms apply to you directly.
- Where a platform requires it, we label posts as AI-generated on your behalf. Don't remove or hide such labels.
- We don't use Your Content to train AI models.
5. Bring-your-own AI keys
You can add your own keys for AI providers such as OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, fal.ai, Replicate and ElevenLabs. We store them encrypted and use them only to run the work you ask for. You pay those providers directly under their own terms, and you're responsible for your usage, spending limits and keeping the keys valid. We aren't responsible for charges from, or outages at, a provider.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal, harmful, hateful or sexual content involving minors; no impersonating real people with AI avatars or voices without permission; no deceptive claims; no spam; and no attempts to break, overload or get around the limits of the Service.
7. Plans, credits and payment
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the period ends.
- Plans renew automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Free trials of paid plans need a card on file. You're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Plan credits refill each month and don't roll over. Credit packs you buy don't expire while your account exists.
- Credits are charged when AI work starts and returned automatically if that work fails. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change; we'll tell you before a change applies to your next renewal.
- All purchases are final — we don't offer refunds on plans or credits. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. This doesn't affect rights you have under the law where you live.
- Upgrades are prorated immediately. When you move to a cheaper plan, unused time is credited towards your next invoice.
8. Connected platforms
When you connect TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or LinkedIn, you authorise us to publish to and read basic statistics from those accounts on your behalf. Your use of each platform is governed by its own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. Platforms can change their APIs, limit reach, reject posts or suspend accounts at any time; we aren't responsible for their decisions. You can disconnect any account at any time. ReelFrames isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of these platforms.
9. API, webhooks and MCP
Personal API keys, the /api/v1 endpoints, campaign webhooks and the MCP server are part of the Service. Use them only for your own account and within your plan's limits and any rate limits. Keep webhook secrets private and verify signatures on your side. We may change or retire endpoints with reasonable notice.
10. Our property
The Service — its software, design, templates, effects, inspiration library and the ReelFrames name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you a right to use the Service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service fast and available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Rendering and posting depend on third-party providers and platforms. We may add, change or remove features; we'll give notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes.
12. Suspension and ending
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy in the app (see data deletion). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, don't pay, or put the Service, other users or third parties at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise any number of views, followers, sales or other results. See our Disclaimer for more.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, lost data, or content removed or accounts restricted by third-party platforms. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
15. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of Your Content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
17. Contact
